Job Description

One of Insight Global's largest pharmacy benefit managers is looking to add a RPG/Java Developer to their legacy platform team. This person will be expected to both know how to code in RPG (AS400) and also know how to execute some Java development too. This is a unique role as it is a complex environment. This person will be supporting day to day functions for the applications in the environment. Some of the applications are running on the legacy AS400 platform and this system runs jobs, data load, and then send the data to the customer. Additionally, there will be some work supporting existing API's as they are moving some of their legacy systems into Java. The ideal candidate would have helped migrate legacy applications off a AS400 system to a Java environment as that work is very similar to the work being done by Prime's group. A person with a curious mindset, problem solving skills, and excellent communication skills would be a great fit for this role.

Skills and Requirements

* 5-8 Years of RPG Development experience

* Experience with the AS400 platform or any versions of it

* Experience with Java development and Java based applications

* Experience with API's and integrating legacy systems into Java

* Experience with Springboot, React, Github 1. Alteryx experience

2. Bachelor's Degree

3. Great communication and personality null
