Primary Function

We are looking for an experienced Resource Manager to lead and manage daily scheduling, resourcing and administrative business functions of a corporate media team. This individual provides support to internal video and communications teams by assisting with project management and securing resources.

Duration: May 15-July 31

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage project and facility scheduling for staff, freelancers and clients using internal software

  • Manage and monitor scope and alert stakeholders of project risks

  • Capacity tracking and project management using tools such as Asana/Jira/Workfront/etc

  • Update timelines to track the project phases and utilize other established client production process and documentation to ensure timely delivery

  • Work closely with department personnel in any aspect of logistical and operational coordination and delivery of content elements

  • Act as key contact for external staffing, resource and equipment requests, travel and scheduling

  • Confirm and assign most appropriate people and equipment resources to each project for domestic and other locations

  • Prioritization and organization of SharePoint front door requests

  • Attend meetings related to scheduling and resources as requested

  • Work in the most proactive, creative and professional manner to provide the highest level of service to our clients (other business units within the company)

  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

  • A clear understanding of the principles of Project Management and appropriate methodologies and processes

  • Familiarity with project management software and video production software such as ScheduALL/Xytech/etc is a plus

  • Performs well under pressure; Well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to interface effectively with a variety of people including team personnel, clients and vendors to establish productive, ongoing relationships

  • Ability to work effectively with senior management and production colleagues in a corporate environment; A positive and proactive attitude

  • Strong results orientation to deliver seamless and timely services to customers

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Must be able to create and format spreadsheets, apply functions and formulas, merge and sort data

  • Familiar with media and production terminology

  • Able to work remotely and effectively, keeping lines of communication open throughout the workday

Education & Experience

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Video/Film Production or related field is required

  • 4+ years agency or video production experience

  • 2+ years office administration, finance, accounting experience or communications role
