Senior Product Manager – Technical Products (PMT): PMTs at Amazon are the end-to-end owners of our software offerings, hardware, and technical services. PMTs leverage their technical depth to partner closely with engineers in defining a vision and building a roadmap to launch technical products that play a key role in making Amazon Earth’s most customer centric company. With a customer base that can span across retail shoppers, developers, CIO's, and business leaders, PMTs are set on a path to become leaders of major business segments or technical organizations. Examples of organizations where PMTs work include: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Alexa, Prime Video, Supply Chain Technology, Amazon Go, Machine Learning Technologies, Security and other teams on the cutting edge of new technology. Full-time roles are available in Seattle, WA.

Key job responsibilities

This PMT will drive the end-to-end roadmap for a suite of critical worldwide security products at Amazon (e.g., preventing bad actors from creating or accessing Amazon accounts, or managing one of our foundational security capabilities). Through their work, they'll have the opportunity to influence and delight millions of customers, and drive bottomline savings of tens of millions of dollars for Amazon.

The PMT will partner with internal Amazon and external to Amazon Organizations to understand long-term fraud and abuse prevention trends, detection strategies, mitigation techniques, and build the foundation to secure Amazon customer accounts, while also building delightful account security experiences for our customers. The PMT will work closely with Technology (Engineering and Machine Learning) teams and astutely use data to make short and long-term trade-offs to deliver on their roadmap.

No two days in Account Integrity are the same! Bad actors keep us on our toes -- from helping the broader Customer Trust organization identify threats, to brainstorming attack prevention techniques, and writing crisp strategy documents, this role has it all.

About the team

The Account Integrity team prevents bad actors from using Amazon accounts or the Amazon brand to harm or cause financial losses to our customers. We develop tools to proactively prevent bad actors from benefitting from our customers' trust in Amazon.

Seattle, WA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with end to end product delivery

  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience managing technical products or online services

  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Product experience in a fraud prevention, security, identity or security domains

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight

  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

  • Experience working with Machine Learning and Applied Science teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
