Cargill Procure to Pay Supplier Relations Specialist with German in Sofia, Bulgaria

Job Purpose and Impact

The Procure to Pay Supplier Relations Specialist, will assist with the payment of supplier invoices and statement of account reconciliation. In this role, you will resolve invoice discrepancies, ensure timely payment of invoices, resolve supplier invoice inquiries and collaborate with outsourcing partners.

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible as first line contact, to research and problem-solve supplier enquiries received regarding accounts payable issues by instructing the suppliers and business units on required actions related to solving disputes.

  • Research statements, past-due invoices, and other miscellaneous mail and supplier issues.

  • Verification of data changes in line with Cargill Payment Control Standards.

  • Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Proficient with email, spreadsheet and word processing applications

  • Fluent English and German

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge accounts payable module in applications

  • Experience working in a shared service center

  • Experience working with SAP or other ERP systems

  • Good customer service skills, with attention to detail

  • Problem solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner

  • Good organizational and time-management skills

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
