Ricoh Americas Corporation Receptionist in St Johns, Newfoundland
Receptionist
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm schedule.
Ricoh is currently looking for a career-oriented individual responsible for a wide range of office duties. This will include greeting and assisting visitors, answering and transferring all incoming calls and scheduling appointments.
Responsibilities:
Courteously meet and welcome customers and general members of the public
Answers, screen and direct all incoming calls
Look up unidentified mail in (client database)
Cross train in the mail/print center and rotate in as necessary
Manage in-house client events
Escort guests to meeting rooms, support with taking coats/luggage and offering coffee/water
Perform administrative support tasks
Oversee mailbox - for administration of client meeting room reservations and catering requests. Triage catering requests and coordination of managed client meeting rooms.
Oversee mailbox – for recorded voice messages and electronic fax
Back up oversight to a neighboring city’s mailbox
Submit service request to landlord for building issues
Document front desk processes and maintain and update on sharepoint site
Back up to support requests for records retrieval during transition of electronic records to the business.
Security access card administration
Participate in Health & Safety Fire warden
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a reception or switchboard position
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly develop business relationships
Strong self-motivation to drive results
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Effective use of Microsoft Office
Ability to regularly lift and push objects up to 30lbs
