Your key responsibilities:

• Develop new analytical methods and in-vitro & in-vivo models in connection with projects on animal health and nutrition (pig, chicken and fish)

• Design, plan and execute research work using established procedures, and applying scientific knowledge

• Analyze experimental data and write scientific reports with appropriate statistical standards

• Develop experimental protocols to optimize test efficiency

• Perform bibliographic research to stay up to date on advances in immunology and cell culture\

• Collaborate and support the team to ensure the smooth running of activities according to the schedule established according to priorities

• Develop a professional network to implement internal or external collaborations related to cell culture, immunology and physiological or oxidative stress

• Present experimental results at scientific meetings or conferences

• Work in accordance with dsm-firmenich QSHE (Quality, Safety, Hygiene & Environment) and safety rules

  You bring:

• PhD Immunology + 3 to 5 years experienece

• Advanced knowledge of immunology and cell culture, and ideally oxidative stress

• Proficiency of flow cytometry

• Knowledge in cellular imaging and microscopy techniques

• Experience with the development of organoids in animals (poultry, pork and/or fish) would be an asset

• Good knowledge of statistical analysis tools and computer programming

• Ability to publish research results in international reference journals

• Good understanding of the issues and perspectives of research in immunology for animal nutrition

• Awareness of the ethical and well-being approach to animal experimentation

• Fluency in English and good knowledge of French

• Optional: Ability to lead and supervise a research team

  Vos principales responsabilités

• Développer de nouvelles méthodes analytiques et des modèles in-vitro & in-vivo en lien avec les projets sur la santé et la nutrition animale (porc, poulet et poisson

• Designer, planifier et exécuter des travaux de recherches en utilisant les procédures établis, et en appliquant ses connaissances scientifiques

• Analyser les données expérimentales et rédiger des rapports scientifiques avec les standards statistiques adéquats

• Développer des protocoles expérimentaux pour optimiser l'efficacité des tests

• Effectuer des recherches bibliographiques pour rester à jour sur les avancées en immunologie et la culture cellulaire

• Collaborer et soutenir l’équipe afin d’assurer le bon déroulement des activités selon le planning établi en fonction des priorités

• Développer un réseau professionnel pour implémenter des collaborations internes ou externes liées à la culture cellulaire, l’immunologie ou au stress physiologique ou oxydatif

• Présenter des résultats d'expériences à des réunions scientifiques ou à des conférences

• Travailler en accord avec les règles QSHE (Qualité, Sécurité, Hygiène & Environnement) et de sûreté de dsm-firmenich

  Ce que vous apportez

• PhD Immunologie avec une experience de 3 a 5 ans

• Connaissance avancée en immunologie et en culture cellulaire, et idéalement en stress oxydatif

• Maîtrise de la cytométrie en flux

• Connaissance souhaitée en techniques d'imagerie cellulaire et de microscopie

• Expérience avec développement d’organoïdes chez l’animal (volaille, porc et/ou poisson) serait un atout

• Bonne connaissance des outils d'analyse statistique et de la programmation informatique

• Capacité à publier des résultats de recherche dans des revues internationales de référence

• Bonne compréhension des enjeux et des perspectives de la recherche en immunologie pour la nutrition animale

• Sensibilisation à l'approche éthique et bien-être en expérimentation animale

• Maîtrise de l’anglais et bonne connaissance du français

• Optionnel : Capacité à diriger et encadrer une équipe de recherche
