Position Summary
As a Program Manager you will help Miovision’s top leaders drive the success and growth of the company. You embody a unique blend of strategic and tactical thinking and are responsible for driving the coordinated management of multiple programs/strategic initiatives in support of the company objectives. You are passionate about success and value individuals as you build engagement, credibility, and rapport with Senior leaders and stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization to contribute to the overall success of the dynamic programs that build Miovision’s future.
In this position you will collaborate with Program Owners (Senior Leaders) to define program scope, KPIs, and manage the performance of program components (projects, initiatives, etc). Complacency is not an option while working to ensure the successful delivery and acceptance of the program, always with the customer-first in mind!
You maintain alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives and partner with Program Owners to make recommendations to modify the program to enhance effectiveness towards the business result or strategic intent. You ensure a regular communication and accountability cadence of meetings and check-ins to ensure on time, on budget delivery of programs across the organization. You provide accurate, cohesive reporting and visibility into programs/strategic initiatives across all segments, to highlight trends toward delivery, risks and issues.
Key Accountabilities
Provides leadership and oversight of strategic programs through a Strategic Execution Stage-Gate framework
Work with key stakeholders to build high-level program plans that may include hardware, software, platform, go-to-market activities/launch, partnership and/or M&A activities
Independently execute program plans; Recommend corrective actions/change management programs and tactics; Identify and manage risks; Develop and implement risk mitigation plans. Ensure alignment from key stakeholders to move the program forward
May lead multiple programs with limited to moderate scope simultaneously, or manage one or more larger strategic programs; Programs are cross-functional in nature and will involve one or more product, corporate, or GTM team
Monitor and report program performance to the cross-functional & Senior leadership
Build engagement for programs through involving key stakeholders and team members in regular communication events, program meetings, etc.
Support the coordination of company wide prioritization efforts
Maintain focus and motivation on programs throughout the lifecycle and regularly articulate quantitative and qualitative benefits, progress and obstacles to success
Acts as the “eyes and ears” on programs; Shares learnings and perspectives with the leadership team and other key stakeholders
Develop, implement and improve best practices and processes which can continually enhance the PMO and Miovision
Skills/Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience in a Program Management, Corporate Development, or Corporate Strategy related role in a global organization
Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
Experience leading large complex cross-functional programs
Proficiency in Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.), Project Management Tooling (MS Project, SmartSheets, etc.), Jira, Confluence
Solid understanding of Program, Project, and Agile methodologies
Advanced knowledge of hardware and software development lifecycle
Demonstrated Experience:
Delivering large-scale programs under demanding timelines
Solving complex challenges in a self-directed manner using structured thinking
Developing frameworks to bring clarity to ambiguous problems
Communicating ideas and concepts in a clear, logical way to executive leadership
Influencing without direct authority a variety of stakeholders through listening, relationship building, and cultivating trust
Resolving conflicts and issues with a demonstrated ability to find a common solution
