Oracle Consulting Technical Manager in Japan

Job Description

  • Experience of complete project life cycle preferably for Banking Clients in multiple Finance modules with exposure to large and complex system landscape

  • Experience in product implementation for large global banks with multi-GAAP/multi-country roll-outs is preferred

  • Configuring Accounting Content, Data Extraction Processes, Data Visualization, Dashboards, and Report

  • Strong Domain knowledge in bookkeeping, accounting, ledgers, and financial reporting

  • Experience in supporting business Finance month-end close and supporting daily operations.

  • Configured the application based on solution design, performed gap analysis, and designed workaround/custom solutions. Excellent knowledge of functional analysis and implementation, techno/functional analysis on interfaces/Legacy conversions. Experience in test script generation, integration Testing, training end users, and preparing user guides.

  • It’s a plus, if candidate has expertise in analysis, design, post-go-live support, and implementation of Oracle Applications using Oracle Fusion modules.

  • Training the client's users on the application and conducting pilot testing, integrated testing, design validation, and setups of Oracle applications

  • Certified Oracle Cloud Implementation Specialist is a bonus

  • Excellent communication and articulation skills. Can explain technical solutions with business flair and get business buy-in.

  • Can lead, own, and deliver in the Finance modules, design workable and even complex solutions, and integrations for client needs, provide demos, and get agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Graduate degree in accounting or finance with relevant experience.

  • Masters or post graduate education is a plus.

  • Candidates with CA / CPA qualification would be preferred.

  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive financial services related finance function/ consulting deployment experience in a dynamic, innovative environment with a large financial institution, software vendor or consulting organization.

  • 5+ years of relevant exp. working as Senior Consultant/Architect in Oracle Fusion Cloud projects is a plus.

  • Ideal candidate will have a strong combination of technical and business skills with deep domain (financial services finance) expertise.

  • Have managed/have played a functional lead role in large transformational programs across multiple domains of Risk, Finance & Accounting.

  • Experience with key Oracle products (EBS/ Fusion/ PeopleSoft/ ERP Cloud, EPM Cloud/ Hyperion, OBIEE/ OCA etc.) is a plus

  • Knowledge of banking products and transaction data is a must.

  • Proven experience of presenting to and engaging with “C-Level” and other Senior Executives and successfully conveying and securing buy in on key messaging and positioning,

  • Ability to understand business needs quickly and articulate solution benefits while securing buy-in from customers.

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal

  • Strong team leading skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to operate at senior levels with clients and internal stake holders
